What an evening! One month after receiving charter approval for NursesMC Nashville, our lead clinical partner, HCA Healthcare TriStar Division (better known as TriStar Health) hosted a reception to thank our many organizational supporters for their assistance in securing charter approval. More than 70 leaders from healthcare, education, philanthropic and community organizations turned out to celebrate this key milestone. We are extremely grateful to everyone who joined us to learn what’s next as we prepare to launch Nashville’s first nursing high school in 2025. Special thanks to our hosts, Stephanie Wise (pictured here with Dr. Poynter), chief nursing executive at TriStar Health, and her colleague Tilita Shaw, TriStar Health’s director of academic affairs and partnerships who also serves on our board of trustees. Thanks also to our speakers, Board President Dr. Mamie Williams, NursesMC CEO Dr. Pamela McCue, and Chris Poynter, District Athletic Director for Maury County Schools, and to the many people who made the gathering festive and kept things running smoothly.
