Winter Coat Drive through February

Nurses MC Nashville is hosting a school-wide Coat Drive to support students and families in need. We are collecting new or gently used coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and scarves in all sizes. Your donation will help ensure every student stays warm, comfortable, and ready to learn through the cold months. Drop off items at the school office anytime during school hours. Thank you for helping us care for our community!

Future in Focus Fridays

On Fridays, students can explore healthcare careers in a casual setting during lunch. We are inviting companies, organizations, and healthcare professionals host a table filled with fun items—stickers, candy, pamphlets, and more. This “come and go” opportunity gives students the chance to stop by, pick up resources, ask questions, and connect with volunteers to learn more about their jobs and organizations.

A Day in the Life of a Healthcare Worker

Each Thursday, we welcome nurses, healthcare workers, and nursing students to campus to share their experiences directly with our students. Guests engage in classrooms through presentations, panels, or hands-on activities that give students a real-world snapshot of life as a healthcare professional. We also encourage guests to share their personal journey into healthcare, helping students see the many paths and possibilities in this field.

Scrubs for Scholars

Our students wear scrubs each day to school as part of their journey to becoming future healthcare workers. To ensure access for every student, we are requesting donations of scrub sets in a variety of sizes, colors, patterns, and styles. Your generosity helps guarantee that no student is left without the tools they need to belong, learn, and thrive. With your support, each student can face the day with confidence, pride, and purpose.

Community Resource Room

Our Community Resource Room is a dedicated space designed to support our Nurses Middle College Nashville students and their families. This room is filled with donated clothing, toiletries, school supplies, food, small furniture, mattresses, and household items, all available completely free to families in our school community. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, families, and supporters, we are able to provide essential items to anyone who may need them. We gladly accept donations year-round. If you or someone you know would like to contribute, we welcome new or gently used clothes, hygiene products, non-perishable food, home goods, and more. For questions, donations, or to schedule a time to visit the Community Resource Room, please contact our Dean of Community Health and Compliance, Ms. Ray. Together, we are building a stronger, supported school community.
