Tilita Shaw has been a registered nurse for 19 years in various clinical roles, including staff nurse, clinical education, talent acquisition and leadership. Currently, she serves as the assistant vice president for academic affairs and partnerships at HCA Healthcare TriStar Division. In that role, she oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of an infrastructure for a systems approach to academic partnerships and targeted programs to support the advancement of the nursing workforce. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mercer University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She currently serves as a board member for Diabetic Social, a non-profit organization focused on educating communities about the prevention and management of diabetes. Ms. Shaw is also a member of Chi Eta Phi, a professional organization for registered professional and student nurses representing many cultures and diverse ethnic backgrounds.
